Fall Foliage, Day 11 - Lebanon, Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri

My morning started off great - I heard Christian and Daisy outside the RV, and when I stepped out her reaction was adorable. It was like we had been playing a super long game of peek-a-boo and she had finally seen me again. Then she took a tour of our RV and I wish we had recorded her reaction!

We went back in the house and played a little more.

Then we drove out to Six Flags! I personally object to the use of the Six Flags name, since Missouri hasn’t had Six Flags over it like Texas did, but oh well. The Gencos gave us season passes before we left, so we were able to zip right in. Since it is the off-season and there was some slight sprinkling, it wasn’t very busy at all. We were able to walk right up to almost every ride with the exception of the Superman Tower of Power and the Ferris Wheel, going on every ride (except one wooden roller coaster) in under three hours.

On the way back, we stopped at Clementine’s for ice cream. For half the cost of a cone in the park, I got a waffle cone with a scoop each of naughty” (read: alcohol content) chocolate stout mint and nice” strawberry with balsamic vinegar and white pepper.

Then back to the house to spend a little more time with Daisy before her bedtime, and using the Penningtons’ wifi to catch up on blogs.
