Fall Foliage, Day 36 - Brookline, New Hampshire to Thomaston, Connecticut
We had no problems loading up and shipping out this morning. Our experiment of staying longer in one place was pretty successful - we were able to explore more of the area without feeling rushed, and Christian got more work time.
Our next stop is 45 minutes west of Hartford, Connecticut, where we’ll be staying for four nights.
The drive was productive - I did some crafting work for Christmas presents, caught up on email and blog posts, and scheduled a swing lesson for us for tomorrow!
We arrived at the next site - Branch Brook Campground in Thomaston, Connecticut - shortly before 3 PM and got set up.
Once settled in and after getting a little work done, we headed out to find an ATM to pay for our stay, groceries, water fill for our 5-gallon jugs (surprisingly difficult to find consistently as we travel), and costume supplies.
Then we came back, snacked, and slept. Christian’s trying out the new sleeping bag/mosquito net combo with the hammock tonight, but I’m staying with what I know works in the RV.
