Fall Foliage, Days 7 and 8 - Buffalo Point, Arkansas to Boiling Spring Campground, Dixon, Missouri
Day 7 - Buffalo Point, Arkansas to Boiling Spring Campground, Missouri
… was uneventful. Which is a good thing, considering that today was a driving day!
I got some work done in the car on the way here. We stopped at Lambert’s for late lunch.
We arrived at Boiling Spring Campground in Missouri on the Gasconade River around 5:45 PM, becoming the fifth rig on site (definitely not the busy season!). Then we took advantage of the wifi/4G coverage and got caught up on even more work (for Christian) and blogging (for me).
I also filmed the final reveal videos of our renovation:
Day 8 - Boiling Spring Campground and Rolla, Missouri
Today was a catch-up day.
I made lots of progress on our t-shirt quilt while Christian made a flow chart for our downsizing post. Then we headed to Rolla, Missouri to The Giddy Goat Coffee House to shamelessly exploit their free wifi (after buying some drinks and snacks, of course).
At 6:00 PM when the coffee house closed, we moved to the Public House Brewing Company (more free wifi) with a quick detour to a health foods store for snacks before we get to St. Louis/Lebanon (projected arrival is tomorrow).
Then it was back to the RV for a little more work, a haircut for Christian, and a couple episodes of Community before bed.
