Fall Foliage, Day 9 - Boiling Spring Campground, Missouri, to Lebanon, Illinois

After breakfast we went for a quick kayak on the Gasconade River to see the Boiling Spring for which the campground was named. We also finally filmed the kayak review video that I’ve been meaning to make for awhile. You can get your own kayak here (they also make single person kayaks)

Then it was time to pack up and ship out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vrdHkqQ–A

The drive to Lebanon, Illinois where Christian’s cousin’s family lives was uneventful. After unpacking the RV from travel mode, we drove into St. Louis and stopped by the Union Station Mall, where Amy (Christian’s cousin Adam’s wife) was getting ready for the Strange Folk Festival tomorrow. I’m excited to go back - I already know her work is adorable (she made the topper for our wedding cake!), and I saw a place selling what looks like handmade yarn.

Then we all went to dinner at a Mai Lee, a Vietnamese restaurant that the Penningtons recommended.

A stop for groceries (at Whole Foods again!!) and back to Lebanon, Illinois where our RV is parked outside Adam and Amy’s house. Christian was finally reunited with his laptop, and we got a little work done before turning in for the night.
