Home for the Holidays, Day 15 - Abingdon and Baltimore, Maryland
This morning after Alfie’s walk, I did some sewing. I added a buttonhole to his winter sweater so the leash can connect to his harness underneath.
Then I finished Daisy June’s Christmas present - a quiet book!
Christian got up and we headed to Baltimore, Maryland to meet my relative Jay Murphy and his friend, Tom, for lunch. After some bumpy cobblestone driving to find parking, we snagged an outdoor table at Thames Street Oyster House. It was awesome - the waitress replaced our silverware after appetizers (fresh and fried oysters) and even brought Alfie a water bowl. Christian, Jay, and I each had the crabcake sandwich, and it did its city proud.
We met up again at Patterson Park just down the road to walk Alfie and Luca (Tom’s dog). There was a gorgeous pagoda building that we used as the backdrop for our photos:
After saying our goodbyes, Christian and I (and Alfie!) sat by the pond to start working on the Photos page for this blog. Alfie also chased several squirrels, though he didn’t catch any (yet).
When it got too cold, we drove back to the RV park to continue working/crafting.
I whipped up a Grinch-inspired antler:
