Home for the Holidays, Day 25 - Sevierville, Tennessee to Goodlettsville, Tennessee
After the usual morning routine (including watching storm clouds roll in), Alfie and I ran errands in the nearby town. He guarded the car while I mailed our Christmas cards, checked RadioShack for LEDs (no battery-powered ones D:), and picked up some decorations at a dollar store.
While we were out, the rain and wind really picked up, but Christian assured me that the hatches had been throughly battened back at the RV. Once we were back and had checked the radar to see if we’d be driving through more storm (we wouldn’t be), Christian loaded the car while I finished dishes, filled the water, and dumped the tanks.
Then we were off to our next stop just outside of Nashville - Grand Ole RV Resort and Market. Alfie curled right up on the beanbag after testing out the couch for the drive.
At the camp we got checked in and found a likely candidate for dinner - a ramen place in Nashville 20 minutes away.
BUT when we got there they wouldn’t serve us on the patio, so I got a scone from the coffeeshop next door to tide me over and we took Alfie to a dog park. There was a Schnauzer/Poodle that looked like a mini (scruffier) Alfie and they had a blast running around and playing.
Then we went back to the RV for dinner (fish and veggie scramble). I made our Christmas stockings while Christian watched a weird British show (Black Mirror), then I watched FRIENDS and made a chocolate banana mug cake.
