Home for the Holidays, Day 28 - Goodlettsville, Tennessee to Millington, Tennessee
After our morning routine we packed up for the drive to Meeman-Shelby State Park just outside of Memphis. The drive was uneventful, and although we did have some trouble finding the entrance, we eventually made it to the visitor center and got checked in.
Our spot is a back-in right by a trailhead, and while Christian was doing the tow-dolly dance I started setting up the hammocks.
The cell service is pretty spotty here and therefore we don’t have internet, so we wound up going to bed pretty early. Christian took a mini-nap on the beanbag and Alfie and I slept in the new Hennessy Hammock. Mine is actually a “kid size” one that was included for free with Christian’s, but it’s rated for up to 5′8″ height and 120 pounds so it works for me :)
It was actually very cozy, but a couple hours in I woke up and had to use the restroom, so I came back inside and wound up just sleeping in the RV instead of trying to get back under the layers in the dark.
